The Thinker

`Our life is what our thoughts make it.’ – Marcus Aurelius

This may actually be true. Maybe this idea will not appeal to everyone, but it sure makes a great rationale as to why we are what we are. If we think happy thoughts, we will be happy. If we think sad thoughts, we’ll be miserable.

We all probably even tried thinking about being sick just to get a day off from class and actually ended up getting sick on the same day and the day after. The mind is so mysterious that even with all the technological advancement we have today no one has ever really been able to assess what really goes on in our heads beyond the anatomy and physiology and whatever we have in psych studies.

We have the power to believe and feel things that will enable us to control our thoughts. By acting in certain ways based on these feelings, values and beliefs we are somehow in control of our fate.

I believe in the power of positive thinking and the effect it has on our decision making process. We can make our thoughts work for us.

In pursuit of peace of mind and happiness? Do not dwell on where you are, what you have, who you are or who you’re with. Think and act. Live life.

Spread the love and happy thoughts. Cheers!

Love, Louise
